Hello, everyone!
Today, I'd like to share a couple of my favorite songs with you. I have more then two favorites, of course, but I picked these two to share today since they had a similar message.

"Name" by Nichole Nordeman, is the first one.This song is really nice, and it is a great reminder that even though we may have forgotten who we are in Christ and get discouraged, we still are His and He knows our name!

I also like "Hello My Name Is" by Matthew West.  This song is similar to "Name, as in it reminds us that we are children of the one true King, when we forget, and also reminds us of the love that He has given to us. I love all of the lyrics!

Hello!  Emily from A Purpose and A Promise here, and this is my first time posting on this blog. I am so excited to be able to contribute to this lovely blog!

I just love these lyrics! They emphasis how much we need Jesus and how much He has done and is doing for us. He can take our nothingness and make it beautiful for His glory.

Would You Rather...Music Edition!

Hello everyone! 

My name is Hope and I am AFLAAT's new Wednesday blogger!

A little bit more about me will be posted soon on the 'Meet the Authors' page so be sure to check it out!

Anyway, as you already know from Allie's post yesterday, this week's posting theme is music! 

Today, I will be doing an interactive post with you all. We are going to play...

Would You Rather...!

Here is some more information/rules:

1. I will be posting 10 different Would You Rather's.
2. Comment below your answers for each one in the comments (you may answer 'both'.)
3. Next week I will post the results in my blog post!
4. I will also include what I would rather do just for fun.

Now, who's ready to play? Let's get started!

1. Would you rather sing or play an instrument?

I would do both! I love singing and playing my acoustic guitar.

2. Would you rather listen to pop or rock music?

Definitely pop!

3. Would you rather listen to the radio or your music on your device (phone, ipod, etc.)?

I would rather listen to my own music, as long as I have updated songs from the radio!

4. Would you rather listen to 80's music or music from today?

I enjoy some 80's songs but I'd rather listen music from today.

5. Would you rather dance to the music or just listen to it?

For me, it really depends on the song and/or my mood.

6. Would you rather sing/play an instrument solo or duet?

I would feel more comfortable doing a duet, but I like the idea of both.

7. Would you rather play an acoustic guitar or an electric guitar?

An acoustic guitar! I tried out an electric before and it actually sounds weird when you're playing it but when others are it sounds really cool.

8. Would you rather listen to really loud or kind of quiet?

REALLY loud! I love my music loud, with or without headphones!

9. Would you rather listen to your music with headphones or without?

I like both ways, but it depends on the environment. If I am back in my room with my sister, I listen to it without headphones. *Pulls out headphones to listen to music*

10. Would you rather sing alone or with your friends?

It really depends on my mood. If I am comfortable and my friends know the song I'll sing with them but most times I sing alone (or with my sister).

I have wrote songs in the past...and I hope to write more soon....But I will not be sharing any of my song lyrics with y'all today. I may sometime soon, but I'm just a little insecure about them at the moment.

He Knows My Name | "I'm His"

Hey! :)

I've always loved the song "He Knows My Name" Here are some of the lyrics.

Today I was listening to He Knows My Name by Francesca Battistelli and it really got me thinking. Here are some of the lyrics to her version.

My favorite Christmas things~

Hello everyone! ^_^ I hope you're all having a fabulous day! :3 I'm super sorry about not posting last week :P
Well, since it's almost Christmas, I thought for a fun, Christmas-y post it would be good to share my favorite Christmas things! :D Let's start, shall we? ;)

My favorite Christmas song- Well, truthfully, it's super hard to pick a favorite, but I'll go with We Wish You a Merry Christmas :D

My favorite Christmas food- HAM. I love ham xD Annddd the good news is we're having that for Christmas this year! *cheers*

My favorite Christmas drink- Cocoa ;D

My favorite Christmas tradition-Probably opening presents on Christmas Eve, and doing stockings on the actual day. I really like that :)

My favorite Christmas decoration- I'm not going to say the family tree, because the Christmas tree is probably everyone's favorite decoration, so I'm gonna go with the miniature pink tree in my bedroom. That doesn't count, does it? LOL!

The best thing to get in my stocking on Christmas day- Probably EOS lip balm or lotion. I love their stuff and I usually get some of it in my stocking xD

My favorite Christmas story- For me, the story of Jesus' birth is my favorite Christmas story, since I'm a Christian :D

My favorite things to do on Christmas- Just hang out with family, read the Christmas story from the Bible, eat, and play with gifts!

Thankful

Hi everyone! Maddy here! Today, I'll be sharing a few things I'm thankful for since thanksgivings is right around the corner. Enjoy and let me know in the comments some of the things your thankful for. :-)

Jesus - I am nothing without Him!

My family - They're  amazing and I love them all so much.

My friends - What would I do without them???

My camera - I love my camera and being able to capture the beauty of this world with it. :-)

Blankets - Nothing's  better then sitting down with a blanket to me.

Animals- I'm a huge animal fan!

The Bible- It's so encouraging and always bring a smile to my face.

Music - I love music!

Dance - Dance is pretty much my life. I love doing it so much and I'm grateful to have the ability to do it. :-)
