Nature Photography

I've noticed, since this weeks them is nature, that everyone has been posting nature photos. And of course that's what I'm also going to do!
I went outside the other day and took pictures in the short period of time that it wasn't raining.
Anyways, here are the pictures I got:

Tree starting to bloom

The cute little frogs

Part of our backyard. It used to be filled with trees, but they had to cut a lot of them down after a wind storm so that, you know, they don't fall on peoples houses.

The sky

You can't see it in the picture, but this tree is actually leaning over our yard.

Hope you liked these pictures! Which one was your favorite?

The Beautiful Nature

Hey everyone!
This week, the theme is nature. But, it had to rain on the day that I post. So, there I went, out with my boots and tablet to take pictures because my camera is charging. Also, my camera just so messed up when it gets just a single drop of water on it. So, you will have to make do. I really hope you enjoy this post.

In the two pictures above, deer were in my yard. They were just staring at me. I thought it was just too cute and I couldn't pass up a picture of it.

In these pictures, I went down to my creek. This is my favorite place to read. I also like it because my younger siblings can't go down here without a "big kid."
Here is a bonus picture! When I went in to go inside, I accidentally took a picture of my deck. It was really cool because a guess a water droplet was on my lens.

Thanks so much for reading!

And If Not, He Is Still Good

"And if not... He is still good". A blog post about lessons learned through the trial of infertility. #infertility #pcos

This quote comes from Daniel 3:17-18 "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up"

I'm going to guess that your familiar with the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. (Or Rack Shack and Benny) ;) They said this just before King Nebuchadnezzar had them tied and thrown into the furnace. There are a lot of things you can learn from this story, but I'm only going to go over one today.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew that even though God could save them, He might not, and even if He didn't, He was still the good and just God that He was before.

From this we can learn that when we ask God for something, and he doesn't give it, that He still good and just.

If something tragic happens in your life, instead of wondering why God would let something so bad happen, remind yourself that He is still just as good and loving as He was before.

This post has been on my heart for a little while, and even though it's short, I hope it makes an impact on someone.

God bless!

He Knows My Name | "I'm His"

Hey! :)

I've always loved the song "He Knows My Name" Here are some of the lyrics.

{ I have a Maker
He formed my heart
Before even time began
my life was in His hands

He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He hears each tear that falls
and He hears me when I call

I have a Father
He calls me His own
He'll never leave me
No matter where I go }

Today I was listening to He Knows My Name by Francesca Battistelli and it really got me thinking. Here are some of the lyrics to her version.

{ I don't need my name in lights
I'm famous in my Father's eyes
Make no mistake
He knows my name
I'm not living for applause
I'm already so adored
It's all His stage
He knows my name }

What I hear from these songs is that I am special in His eyes.

I don't need anyone else's approval because God has already approved me: special, adored, beautiful,
I'm His.

My confidence, my strength, my approval, my life, my encouragement, my compliments, and my love comes from Him: "I'm His"

You are His.

~
